The Inspiration:
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
The spiritual inspiration for all these products came first before I realized the health benefits to the ingredients used. None of the ingredients hold any magic powers or any authority at all. God actually speaks against assigning such powers to tangible material objects aside from specific objects He himself has embued with power (such as the ark of the covenant). The ingreidents were use less to give the products power but more to remind people of God the power and authority given to them by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit Himself.
Our Story
This all start by me wanting to grow my own beard. I have never had much success growing out my beard in the past. I realized that I never really put work into it. I was supposed to brush it, groom it and be attentive to it. I then realized that the same way I need to be attentive to my beard so that it grow healthy, we all need to be attentive to our relationships with God. We cannot expect to have a healthy and robust life in Christ but ignore everything that would lead to a fruitful relationship with Him. From ther I began to research making my own beard products for personal use and realized that many of the product I wanted to use had some kind of spiritual link. Like a lightening bolt, I became motivated to inspire other men to remind themselves before leaving the house of how dangerous to the enemy we are when we are confident in the authority Christ has given us. So men of God, remember, you are equipped, set apart and anointed for everything you woud encounter in this world. If God is for you, who can be against you? No one, not anything. No weapon formed against you can prosper when you walk in your God given anointing.
Cedar Wood
Inspired by the Cedar Trees of Lebanon, used to build the Temple of God. They were prized for their strength and their resistance to rot. Now they symbolize spiritual fortitude and incorruptibility. Two attributes we should all aspire to be known for having.
Olive Oil
Olive Oil was one of the most valuable products in the world at one time in history. Beyond its monetary value, olive oil was used in the Bible for anointing and consecration of items or people valuable and set apart by God. It signifies healing, comfort and abundance from God. It also serves as a symbol of the anointing of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of God will bear witness of the children of God. You are anointed and powerful.
Beef tallow and milk products.
When thinking of product made with beef tallow and milk, beyond just luxurious and creamy products, I thought of the story of the Prodigal Son. The son had lived a life of depravity and wastefulness and eventually came to his senses. He summed up the courage to go back to his father regardless of his shame and guilt. Instead of being harsh with his son the father instantly forgave him and invited him in. Gave him new clothes, a signate ring and celebrated with a feast that included a fatted calf. Use these ingredients to remember our Heavenly Father's love for you and His forgiveness when you repent.
Frankincense, Myrrh, Spikenard Oil and Anointing Oil
Frankincense and myrrh were used in anointing oil. Used to set things and people apart and consecrating them to God. Myrrh was also used as a foreshadowing of the fate Jesus was going to have on the cross as He paid a price for sin He neither did nor could we ever pay satisfactorily. Smelling myrrh should remind us to be grateful for being set apart as God's special people by the blood of Christ which was shed for us on the cross.
Lamb's Milk and Tallow
God is a God of grace, mercy and justice. Jesus's sacrifice on the cross is all of those things in one act. What made that possible? Jesus is nicknamed the perfect lamb of God. On the cross he paid our debt to fulfill justice and simultaneously extends the hand of grace by allowing us to not have to pay that penalty if we would accept him as both Savior of our souls and Lord of our lives. In another instance Jesus would also say " My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand." These products are some of the hardest and most expensive to get but it's worth it to remind you an important truth. Jesus knows you by name, He has extended to us an invitation into eternal life. No matter what you are going through, He didn't do all that just to leave you abandoned in your circumstances. Follow Him. He's the good Shepherd and will see you to green pastures. YOU ARE LOVED
Prayer
Prayer is the most important thing that goes into every product and typed word on this site. My most sincere prayer is for you, the person reading this right now. I pray that you may be encouraged in Christ by everything we offer. I pray that if you don't know Christ, that you may meet Him in a mightly way. I pray that you are edified and comforted by using the products here and through our interactions. The prayer is that a community be started here and grow by the power of the Holy Spirit.
